At the auto expo 2023, Tata unveiled the Tata Punch iCNG variant. What is unique about this offering is the inclusion of 2 CNG tanks in parallel instead of 1 huge tank. With this, we don’t need to give up the boot space that would otherwise be lost due to 1 huge 60-liter tank.

The model on the floor was a Red Calypso with an iCNG badging. You get a new CNG switch button on the right side button cluster. The spare tyre has been moved underneath the car. Other than that the car is a standard Tata punch with the same engine and looks.

What is attention-grabbing is that Tata has also introduced a Sunroof which a lot of fans felt was missing in the original offering.
There is not a lot of info on the pricing and the availability of the variant but is expected to come soon this year.
We feel it’s a nice addition to the Tata iCNG lineup and the Punch Family.
